Since there's not much growing around here I thought I'd share a few things that get lost in the
greenery of summer...
These stone cats sit in my shade garden and often are disguised by the hostas that fill in behind them.  The garden is just starting to fill out and this spot has changed quite a bit since it was taken.

This curly - kinky branched tree often gets overlooked once someone sees the other gardens.
It a Contorted Filbert, also known as Harry Lauder Walking Stick.   Its one of my favorites.

The garden next to the patio is already filling out nicely.  It's the first to fill out since its against the side of the house and gets the warmth from the foundation.    Stop back in for more scenes to come.
