Two for Tuesday (on Wednesday)

I had good intentions to post this last night but the drought had me watering until dark. The Knock Out Roses are doing great this year. Seems like the mild winter was good for everything.

This watering can planter was a gift from my boss and his wife.  She knows my style so well!

Rustic Meets White

This is one of my very favorite garden pieces.  I got this rustic birdhouse from a dear friend of mine's shop Interior Visions in Bellevue. (http://interiorvisionsgalleria.homestead.com/) It's huge, standing about 3 feet and I keep it right near the patio and pool deck so everyone can enjoy it.
This white clematis used to be in the back garden near the old shed and no one could really enjoy it's large white blooms.  Some are more than 5 inches across.
Stay tuned for more garden love to share!

UNIVITED GUEST

The other night I'm sitting on the couch in the family room and happen to get a glimpse of movement in one of my gardens.  It's almost dark so I really thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

I go out to the patio and take a look - sure enough an uninvited guest and not a bit scared of me either!
I was able to go back inside, get the camera and snap away.  I finally had to walk out to the garden with arms swinging to get her to move on.  I guess that's what comes with living in the country.
